Factors affecting the plasticizing of the mixer
1: Roll: roll temperature and low temperature, rubber viscosity, shear force, plasticizing effect is good. Usually the temperature of the plastic is controlled between 45-55 degrees. When the temperature is high, not only the plasticizing effect is poor, but even if the required plasticity, cooling down, the plasticity is also gradually reduced, resulting in elastic recovery, which is known as plasticity or plasticity.
2: roller distance: in the same speed ratio, roller distance is small, shear rate, shear force, good effect of plastic. Moreover, the roll gap is small, the film thickness is small, easy to cool, so that the viscosity of the glue is large, and the shearing force is improved.
3: mastification time: open smelting machine mixing in the first 10-15min, rubber plasticity increases very quickly, then remained stable. Rubber to obtain larger plasticity (Wilson 0.5), must take the piecewise plastication. Each time not more than 20min, plastic rubber cooling, 4-8h, after the next section of plastic.
4: the amount of glue: plastic filling capacity depends mainly on the specification of the mixer. The amount of glue is too large, the accumulation of plastic floating, the heat is difficult to diverge, plastic refining effect is poor, and strong labor force. The quantity of glue is too small, the efficiency is reduced. When the synthetic rubber is hot, it is necessary to reduce the amount of glue.
5: chemical plastic solution using chemical agent can improve the plasticizing effect, shorten the plasticizing time, reduce the elasticity of the phenomenon, but the plastic temperature should be appropriately increased.
